Ordinary Board Member
Licentiate of the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene

Occupational Hygienists for Envirocare and involved in the structured training and mentoring programme, alongside the BOHS World Module path. Passionate about supporting the message of BOHS.

I currently lead a team of Occupational Hygienists for Element Environmental. As a qualified Occupational Hygienist for 17 years, I have a wealth of experience in the field, undertaking a variety of workplace assessments, in a diverse range of industries, to produce detailed findings for clients.

My current role gives me responsibility for carrying out the strategic vision and goals for Element, to develop the O.H. business. Also, I manage a structured training and mentoring programme, alongside the BOHS World Module path, to engage and inspire young people into a career in Occupational Hygiene. I am proud to say this has led to four of the team, winning the coveted BOHS Ted King Award.

Each year, I enjoy attending the BOHS annual conference. The event has been a great place to network and supports the improvement of industry standards.

The role of the Occupational Hygienist is crucial in the fight to prevent workplace illness. I feel passionate about supporting the message the BOHS wants to convey and would like to see the increased visibility of the Society and Occupational Hygiene, as a well-known, recognised career.
