Helen Pearson

Honorary Secretary
Licentiate Member of the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene

A self-employed occupational hygienist and a Licentiate member of FOH, holding a Master of Science Degree in Occupational Hygiene. Also, a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (CFIOSH), a Fellow of the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (FIIRSM) and an associate member of the Energy Institute.

I have led a significant number of occupational hygiene projects in both the public and private sectors, including projects in onshore and offshore high-risk environments for the oil and gas industry, as well as projects for organisations in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, utilities, local government, education, and defence sectors.

I have several volunteering roles within BOHS and am currently serving on the BOHS board as Honorary Secretary and as a Regional Organiser for Scotland.  I would like to see more awareness of our profession and a promotion of our occupation within universities and career fairs.
