Sarah Leeson

FOH Registrar
Chartered Fellow and Registrar of the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene

Occupational Hygienist at ExxonMobil and the Registrar of the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene  since 2019. I represent the Faculty on the BOHS Board of Trustees.

The vast majority of my career has been spent working for ExxonMobil as an Occupational Hygienist, starting at the Fawley Manufacturing site and progressing to my current role of Occupational Hygiene manager for Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

I am also the Registrar of the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene, having assumed this role in 2019. Before this, I was a FOH committee member for six years. The committee has a vital role in establishing, developing and maintaining the standards of competence in Occupational Hygiene practice for all members of the FOH. I represent the Faculty on the BOHS Board of Trustees.

BOHS being awarded its Royal Charter was recognition of the vital role the Society plays in worker health protection. In the future, I would like to see BOHS continue to increase its global profile via successful initiatives similar to Breathe Freely. I would also like to see more professional progression of members through to Chartered membership.
