‘Chartered Occupational Hygienist’ is a coveted and protected title, which is recognised as a mark of excellence across the world. Those who have achieved this position are entitled to use post-nominal letters to show their prestigious status in the profession.
Route to Chartership
As a Chartered Occupational Hygienist, you will be a member of the BOHS Faculty of Occupational Hygiene and have attained the BOHS Diploma of Professional Competence in Occupational Hygiene (DipOH). Your starting point and pathway depend on your qualifications and experience.
Maintaining the Chartered Status
Congratulations on gaining your Chartered status, now it's time to maintain this status. Maintaining your Chartered status requires you to complete our Continued Professional Development (CPD) scheme.
You will be able to complete your CPD through your account.
