I am a Chartered Occupational Hygienist and Fellow of the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene with almost four decades of experience in occupational hygiene practice and consultancy.
I have worked as an occupational hygiene consultant since 1990 and have held a number of voluntary leadership roles within BOHS, becoming Faculty of Occupational Hygiene Registrar in 2025.
I hold qualifications including a PhD in Chemistry, an MBA from the Open University, the Diploma of Occupational Health Practice and the Diploma of Professional Competence in Occupational Hygiene.
I am also a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) with the American Board of Industrial Hygiene and has been a full member of BOHS since 1990.
