Be refreshed with our bespoke asbestos refresher courses
In 2018, we revised our series of asbestos refresher training courses, specially designed to suit your individual training needs. These one day courses refresh your learning in areas of your role that you find the most challenging, and update you on any changes in legislation or work procedures over the last 12 months.
The courses are supported by HSE and UKAS, and comply with the requirements in the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR 2012) for licensed and non-licensed asbestos workers to undertake refresher training on a regular basis. There is also no examination for these courses - just an informal assessment set by the tutor at the end of the training day to establish your level of learning and any additional teaching requirements.
The revised refresher courses are:
- RP402 (for asbestos surveyors)
- RP404 (for asbestos site clearance analysts)
- RP405 (asbestos duty holders)
Please download the course specifications below for more information.
Why should I refresh?
Please download our Asbestos refresher courses FAQs document to find out more about why you need to undertake regular refresher training, how often, and why BOHS refresher courses are the best option for you and your employees.
How do I book on a refresher training course?
Please go to our Find a Course search facility and select the relevant RP code (RP402, RP404 or RP405) from the dropdown list. You can then contact a training provider who is offering a training date and location near you.
