Mary Cameron

Ordinary Board Member
Chartered Member of the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene (CMFOH)

I have worked in occupational hygiene for over a decade, initially as a consultant and now as an HM Specialist Inspector with the Health and Safety Executive.

I hold the Diploma of Professional Competence in Occupational Hygiene and the Certificate of Competence in Control of the Working Environment. I have a particular interest in local exhaust ventilation and the effective design, assessment and maintenance of workplace control measures.

I have been actively involved with BOHS since early 2015, supporting the Society through Board-level activity and a range of voluntary roles, including Midlands Regional Coordinator, LEV conference organisation and professional mentoring.

I am proud to support BOHS in delivering its strategic aims and promoting effective management of the workplace environment to help safeguard the health of the UK’s current and future workforce.
