Stephen Clarke
I am a qualified Occupational Hygienist and a Chartered Member of the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene (CMFOH).
With extensive experience within the oil and gas industry, I am currently employed as one of His Majesty’s Offshore Industrial Hygiene Specialist Inspectors within the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Energy Division. My role has the responsibility to protect worker health by promoting and supporting the principles of good occupational health & hygiene offshore and cover topics such as physical, chemical and biological health risks, first aid and basic health care, welfare including food safety and offshore living/accommodation standards.
Along with being an ordinary board member, I currently volunteer as one of the Regional Co-ordinators in Scotland and have previously contributed towards working groups within the faculty as/when required. I have an interest in the governance and direction of the faculty and therefore am keen to volunteer my time and knowledge further to contribute towards board discussions and decision making.
