BOHS endorses the current guidance by Public Health England on the use of face masks by non-health workers

BOHS is pleased to work with HSE and emphasises the regulatory and practical importance for employers and workers in adhering to its guidance. The guidance changes from time to time and is under continual review by its experts and practitioners.

BOHS is seeing increasing enquiries about the use of face masks by the general public, including the use, manufacture and distribution of independently designed of “DIY” masks as a measure against COVID-19.
