The British Occupational Hygiene Society, a scientific charity and the Chartered Society for Worker Health Protection is issuing guidance on managing Covid-19 in the workplace after the end of restrictions in England.

As all legal restrictions have been removed under the government’s “Living with Covid” plan, the Society worked on a guidance in the form of “Working With COVID-19” Frequently Asked Questions to provide advice and support to all sectors and to help employers and employees understand how to manage Covid-19 in the workplace in the post-pandemic era.

BOHS CEO, Professor Kevin Bampton said: “All employers are probably trying to work out the complicated balance between looking after their workers, ensuring business continuity, understanding where their legal duties lie and just getting on with work. We hope this starts a discussion about how to work with COVID-19 in a practical way.”

The guidance can be found on BOHS COVID-19 hub, alongside guidance on ventilation and managing Covid-19 risk.
