BOHS Regional Meeting | A History of Ergonomic Successes!
Date & Time: Wednesday 4th December 2024, 13.00-14.30
Programme: To celebrate CIEHF’s 75th anniversary, the ‘’Think Human’’ exhibition is being shown at Derby’s Museum of Making. This exhibition brings together people, products, places and procedures to celebrate a world that's designed to be both safe and productive, comfortable and enjoyable. Join us to see the story of how ergonomics has shaped the world. Link to exhibit information: Think Human | CIEHF (ergonomics.org.uk)
Have you ever looked for a robust musculoskeletal assessment tool that is easy and quick to use? Have you ever wanted a tool that assesses risk factors for upper limbs and the spine? This presentation will cover:
- What makes the Quick Exposure Check (QEC) so robust.
- Measuring exposure to musculoskeletal disorder risk factors – considering all the risk factors.
- How to administer the QEC assessment tool.
- Using the tool to create a case for workplace changes.
Arrive to the ‘’Loft’’ meeting room for presentations from 1pm start to 2:30pm end. We will then walk around and explore the exhibit together.
