First session:  Understanding the skin and how this impacts prevention of ill health from skin exposure (Dr Helen Taylor, Managing Director, Enviroderm)

Second session: Using our understanding of when things go wrong to make improvements for the future (Dr Colin Purnell, Managing Director of Cogent Risk Management Ltd)

Third session: General discussion of skin assessment methods, skin hydration measurement kit (Dr Helen Taylor, Managing Director, Enviroderm) plus Q&A

Speakers
Dr Helen Taylor grew up learning about skin, the interaction of it with the workplace and different approaches to minimising ill health from skin exposure. On leaving university she joined the family business, Enviroderm Services, and is the current managing director. She has spent the last 25 years understanding the use of skin measurements in a variety of skin research and cosmetic fields.

Dr Colin Purnell has spent the past 40 or so years working in occupational health and safety and environment management and most recently as Managing Director of Cogent Risk Management Ltd which provides an expert witness service on occupational injury cases including occupational dermatitis.

Tea and coffee will be available on arrival, and sandwiches following the presentations.
