What they do
OHTA began as an international collaboration amongst dedicated occupational hygienists from several nations who wanted people from around the world to enjoy the benefits of a healthy working environment. The International Occupational Hygiene Association (IOHA) supports OHTA in its training activities.
To achieve their goals, they:
- Develop, review and upgrade occupational hygiene training materials
- Work with training providers and awarding bodies
- Participate in educational conference sessions
- Build partnerships with other like-minded organisations

How we work together
We are a member of OHTA. We are the only awarding body for the W500 series occupational hygiene modules and the International Certificate in Occupational Hygiene (ICertOH), as well as offering the W201 Basic Principles in Occupational Hygiene qualification, all of which are part of the OHTA international training scheme and qualifications framework. We also provide OHTA with professional support services.
