BOHS Logo

The BOHS logo  is available for use by our members, course providers, journalists and others with a genuine requirement.  However, it is a Registered Trademark (2335377), and permission and sight of artwork is always required from the BOHS office before use.  Please take the time to read the following guidelines, as permission will not generally be granted for a request that doesn't meet these.

Guidelines for the use of the BOHS logo

• The BOHS logo should NEVER be used to denote or imply approval or accreditation by BOHS of any individual or company;
• The BOHS logo should be used only to illustrate any textual reference to the British Occupational Hygiene Society (and/or BOHS);
• Avoid using the logo in small or large sizes which affect the quality of the reproduction;
• Leave a clear space around the logo;
• Don't alter the size relationship between any of the elements in the logo, or distort the proportions of the logo, or rotate the logo;
• Don't alter the colours of the logo (although two colour or b/w printing is acceptable);
• Don't apply the logo to a background where it doesn't stand out and can't easily be read;

There are three versions of the logo available on-line, a .jpg file, a .gif file, and a .eps file.

BOHS Logo jpg is suitable for most low resolution requirements.

BOHS Logo gif is suitable for web display if scaled down, and for non-colour-matched printing. Note that Pantone colours have been approximated for a normal monitor display.

BOHS Logo eps is suitable for colour-matched printing. Note Pantone colours: Pantone Red 485 and Pantone Reflex Blue.
