A Healthy Working Environment For Everyone

Controlling Health Risks in Construction course

BOHS has worked with the construction industry to create a one-day taught course, CCHRC - Certificate in Controlling Health Risks in Construction for site supervisors and site managers. It teaches students how to identify the most common health hazards on construction sites, what their health effects are, and how to put controls in place in order to protect their health.

This is BOHS' first 'off-the-shelf' course, where we provide all the necessary teaching materials so that construction companies can apply to become tutors and deliver the course themselves in-house. We also have external training courses available for students to book onto.

To apply to become a tutor or training provider for this course, please email qualifications@bohs.org. The full registration process is detailed on the BOHS' Approved Training Provider page.

To book yourself or your colleagues onto an existing course, please use the Find a course search facility to view available dates and locations. Please note that we are setting up new training providers on an ongoing basis, so if there are currently no suitable dates please check back in the upcoming weeks as more dates will become available soon.

For general enquiries about the course, please download the course specification below, or alternatively contact the Qualifications  Team on 01332 298101.

The available qualifications are listed by qualification code and title. Please click on the document links to download an information document.
