Consultation Documents

Consultation and discussion documents are issued by the Health and Safety Executive and other government agencies to gain the opinion of stakeholders on proposals for new policy or legislation, or for amendments to current legislation and Approved Codes of Practice.  For all current and closed HSE/HSC consultative documents, see the HSE's web page at www.hse.gov.uk/consult/index.htm. 

The current  discussion documents with relevance to occupational hygiene are also listed below, with direct links to the document on the issuing authority's website. If you’d like to submit comments as an individual, or are not a member of BOHS, then you can use this direct route.

For any documents listed here, once the deadline for responses has passed the official BOHS response will be posted as soon as it has been compiled.
