East Anglia

This region covers the East of England (Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, but extending to Bedfordshire, Lincolnshire and north Essex). The group provides a focal point and network for BOHS members based in this part of the country. Social meetings are organised periodically to discuss topical matters and plan future events.

Previous successful meetings include one on changes to the COSHH Regulations,  a one-day seminar entitled 'New Regulations for Old Problems - reducing the human cost of excessive exposure to occupational noise and vibration', for which all the presentations can be downloaded by clicking on the link, and most recently an open technical seminar developed by BOHS's REACH Steering Group on 'How to REACH 2007', again for which all the presentations can be downloaded.

Similar events are planned for the future. Close links are being developed with sister organisations in the region (eg. IOSH, Norwich and District Safety Group, FISHnet) and it’s hoped that joint seminars can be organised.  Any forthcoming events in this region will be included in the Event Calendar.  Many of our regional meetings are free. Any fee-paying seminars can be paid for on-line.

Andy Marshall is the Regional Organiser.
