East Midlands & Yorkshire

Recent events in the Region have included a jointly hosted one day SIG seminar on metalworking fluids at HSL Buxton with the North West Region and a similar seminar on non asbestos fibres held in Sheffield which was very well attended despite the awful weather. (Presentations from these are available by clicking on the links). Aside from that we have had one joint EEF/BOHS meeting at which John Cherrie, currently BOHS President, gave a presentation on skin care.  Any forthcoming events in this region will be included in the Event Calendar.

The Regional organiser is Dave Galloway and he is looking to arrange one or two less formal events this year, probably at EEF Sheffield. East Midlands and Yorkshire members are invited to suggest alternative venues and subjects for discussion by email to  eastmidlands.yorkshire@bohs.org
