Postgraduate Student Bursary Scheme
BOHS's Postgraduate Student Bursary Scheme is for students wanting to gain a higher education qualification in Occupational Hygiene. The most recent round of awards were announced in January 2010: Christina Jackson, studying for an MSc in Occupational & Environmental Health and Safety Management at the University of Portsmouth, which brings to 16 the total number of bursaries awarded since the launch of the scheme. Christina has been awarded a bursary to cover one year’s tuition fee.
The Scheme is open to all students either already registered on, or who have been offered a place on, any UK-based postgraduate course approved by the Faculty of Occupational Hygiene. Up to five bursaries will be awarded in any twelve month period. The closing date for the next round of applications is 31 January 2011.
