Scotland - Occupational Hygiene and Health Surveillance around Benzene and Mercury in Oil and Gas Streams

Mercury & Benzene are present in hydrocarbon streams, oil sludge and pig wax offshore. Up to now, operators have done “their own thing”. This is an opportunity to look at the science behind the Occupational Hygiene aspects of exposure risk management, exposure control, monitoring and biological sampling and develop a common strategy.
